Westshore Marina District lands new urban grocer
A boutique grocer that got its start in downtown Tampa has signed a deal in the Westshore Marina District.
Duckweed Urban Market, which has locations in the central business district, Channel district, Seminole Heights and is looking at sites in Orlando, will take 3,000 square feet in the Westshore Marina District, announced the developer, BTI Partners.
Construction on the retail space is underway, BTI said. Duckweed will open in early 2020.
It will sell groceries, craft beer and liquors with a focus on specialty and artisan items.
