Tampa Bay Emerges as One of the Hottest Real Estate Markets in the U.S.

On March 11, esteemed regional leaders and industry experts spoke at Marina Pointe about Tampa’s exponential rise as a real estate hot spot. Mayor Castor started the event with an announcement that  in the year 2020, City of Tampa permits increased by $1.4 billion and construction value increased by 45%. The Mayor also discussed the great strides Tampa has made in making the permitting processes easier for both developers and homeowners.

Why has the spotlight been shining even brighter on Tampa?

Among many factors,  Tampa has been making national headlines with ranked beaches, large sporting events, and even sports championships. Within the past year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl, the Tampa Bay Lightning brought home the Stanley Cup, and the Tampa Bay Rays made an appearance in the World Series.

Why are companies and their employees choosing Tampa?

Craig Richard of the Tampa Bay EDC also shared why several corporations, such as Suzuki Motors, have decided to either expand to or completely relocate their headquarters to Tampa. The quality of life and beautiful weather may be attractive to individuals and companies, but Tampa International Airport also offers easy access both internationally and within the United States.
